There was something about the Music of the 1970’s that today lacks. This is an example of what you could once find on T.V.
A New World was coming. If you so much as compare today to the time this was sang, you will see the song was right. Yet, the circle of time has come around and once again this song applies to today, a New World is coming. This time the changes will be more like what we have dreamed of.
I cannot bare today’s music industry, but I love music. As a result I either listen to old music or k-pop.
For all you musicians out there, this next one is for you.
In the New World people will start singing along.
BTW, this is Mama Cass Elliot who is now best known today for Dream a little Dream of Me. This wasn’t her most popular song, but has stood the test of time. She was in the Mamas and the Papas. (California Dreaming)
Anyway, I just heard the New World Coming song, and thought you would like it. Most my knowledge of old music was from Motown. I hardly focused on the other music in the 60-70’s when I started listening to old music. Motown had enough variety to entertain me. Not saying that it was the only good music at the time, as Mama Cass Elliot alone can prove.
Yet, being so close to Detroit, I’ve visited the Motown Museum. I am able to see some similarities between Motown and K-pop. I wrote a post about it that I never posted. Perhaps I will post it soon, if anyone is interested comment.

Intuitive Voyage 
I love her so much. So many of the songs from the 60s and 70s are still so relevant today.
I think the 60’s and 70’s dreams are what will finally be coming true. Everyone has been talking about since before our births, but I sense that change is in the the air. A Spring after a long winter, when the snow begins to melt. Perhaps after this winter something more then snow will be melting.
I am grateful for having lived through the 50s, 60s and 70s. It was a beautiful time. So much idealism and getting things changed for the better. Not as much as we would have liked, but it was an awesome time, and I agree the time for those dreams to be fulfilled is now.
